Brandon Temple

I build production software across startup products, operational data systems, desktop tools, and native apps.

I founded and own Breauti LLC, building its fashion platform and leading Breauti Studio, a digital product studio for custom websites, apps, and operational systems. I also build software for MSU Libraries.

About

I turn operational friction into software people can use.

Illustrated portrait of Brandon Temple wearing a white jacket in a warmly lit coffee shop

I am Brandon Vashun Temple, the founder, owner, and software engineer behind Breauti LLC. Breauti develops its own fashion platform, while Breauti Studio is its founder-led digital product branch, helping clients plan, design, build, launch, and maintain custom websites, web and mobile apps, and practical digital systems. Breauti Studio can start from scratch or adapt a proven feature suite, such as the Education Suite, when that is the better foundation.

At MSU Libraries, I support 12 library systems and 76 branches and campus libraries. I built Query and MetaTable from staff needs, translating API, file-system, metadata, and reporting constraints into dependable workflows.

Across Breauti's own products and Breauti Studio client work, I have built a Three.js fashion customizer, a Firebase-backed service-delivery platform, and Afternoon Adventure's production operations system. I also build native and device products, using AI to accelerate implementation while keeping architecture, debugging, testing, and review human-led.

Experience

Software built for real organizations.

Founder & Software Engineer

Jul 2026 - Present

Breauti LLC | Mississippi / Remote

  • Founded and own a Mississippi-registered startup; lead product strategy, software architecture, engineering, verification, and launch across Breauti Fashion and Breauti Studio.
  • Built breauti.com, a responsive fashion platform for a customizable luxury sneaker concept, including a real-time Three.js style customizer, transparent product-development plan, accessibility/privacy controls, and transaction launch gates.
  • Built and operate Breauti Studio, a founder-led digital product studio for custom websites, web/mobile apps, and practical operational systems; engineered its Firebase-backed intake and delivery platform with Google sign-in, client workspaces, agreements, messaging, Drive access, revision tracking, and transactional email workflows.
  • Created a reusable Blender-to-WebGL asset pipeline with scene provenance, responsive render automation, GLB validation, and a controlled macOS/Windows RTX render workflow.

Technology & Support Services Coordinator

Aug 2024 - Present

MSU Libraries, Mississippi State University | Starkville, MS

  • Build and maintain internal software for MSU Libraries and Mississippi Library Partnership operations serving 12 library systems and 76 branches/campus libraries.
  • Automate reporting, file processing, metadata extraction, data cleanup, and Excel-ready staff workflows using C#, .NET, Python, Perl, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and shell scripts.
  • Developed Query, a browser-based reporting system with API-backed metadata, configurable filters/forms, authenticated sessions, protected history, JSONL result handling, and Excel export.
  • Created MetaTable, a C# WPF metadata scanner for large directory trees with real-time progress tracking and structured Excel exports.
  • Translate staff and member-library requests into SirsiDynix API/SQL integrations, documented support workflows, and Excel reports while communicating technical tradeoffs clearly to nontechnical users.
  • Use AI-assisted development while applying C# and C++ systems fundamentals, data structures, debugging, tests, and code review to validate generated code for correctness, performance, and maintainability.

Contract Software Engineer / Web Developer

2026

Afternoon Adventure Learning Center | Newton, MS

  • Delivered a paid production platform for a 501(c)(3) afterschool and tutoring center, combining a public custom-domain site with family accounts, staff administration, attendance, enrollment, and QR-based time-clock/payroll workflows.
  • Implemented Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, Gen 2 Functions, App Check, Security Rules, role-based permissions, family forms, generated PDF reports, privacy controls, and automated email workflows.
  • Worked directly with stakeholders and built release gates, automated browser/rules tests, crawlable public resources, and deployment checks to keep the platform maintainable and discoverable.

Selected Work

Systems that shipped, solved problems, or proved an idea.

Production platforms, operational tools, native applications, and device prototypes built around real constraints.

Live Nonprofit Website | Firebase-Backed Staff & Family Portal

Afternoon Adventure Website

Paid production platform for a Mississippi afterschool and tutoring center, combining a crawlable public site with Firebase-backed family accounts, staff operations, attendance, enrollment, reporting, content publishing, and privacy controls.

Owned the platform from stakeholder requirements through production delivery, security rules, automated checks, and ongoing iteration.

  • Family forms with per-child responses, sortable results, and PDF exports with counts and percentages
  • Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, Gen 2 Functions, App Check, Security Rules, role-based staff access, and opt-in analytics
  • Attendance, enrollment PDFs, QR time clock, payroll exports, managed content, notifications, and family account history

Operational Case Study | Browser-Based Reporting Tool

Query

Browser-based reporting system for MSU Libraries with API-driven fields, configurable filters and forms, authenticated sessions, protected report history, a local demo backend, virtualized results, and custom Excel export.

Built from a live staff reporting workflow, not a sample dataset.

  • API-backed schemas, field descriptions, reusable templates, form-mode reports, and shareable URLs
  • Persistent authenticated sessions with report history limited to signed-in users
  • JSONL streaming, virtualized large-result tables, post-filters, column controls, and custom XLSX export

Operational Case Study | WPF File Metadata Scanner

MetaTable

C# WPF desktop tool built for MSU Libraries to scan large directory trees, extract file metadata, show progress, and export structured Excel reports for staff review.

Built to turn a slow file-review task into a repeatable staff workflow.

  • Recursive file-system traversal for large directory trees
  • Real-time progress tracking during long-running scans
  • Structured Excel exports for metadata review

Private Native macOS App | Local AI Capture Workspace

Recorder

Private project

SwiftUI macOS app that records a selected window with system audio, microphone, and optional camera, then creates searchable local transcripts, structured summaries, and optional visual notes without sending recordings to a hosted AI service.

Designed as a privacy-first media pipeline where capture, indexing, transcription, and model inference stay on the user's Mac.

  • ScreenCaptureKit, AVFoundation, and Core Audio capture into MOV plus separate lossless audio
  • On-device MLX Whisper large-v3-turbo transcription with searchable transcripts and playback anchors
  • Local Qwen3.5 summarization through llama.cpp with constrained JSON, repair, validation, and diagnostics

Open-Source IoT Prototype | SwiftUI + BLE + nRF52840 Firmware

Door Unlocker

Open-source BLE actuator prototype spanning nRF52840 firmware, SwiftUI iPhone and Mac apps, signed commands, USB-gated pairing, Siri and widgets, and recoverable signed over-the-air firmware updates.

  • Built XIAO nRF52840 firmware for BLE control, authenticated commands, servo movement, auto-lock timing, USB serial management, and LED state feedback
  • Added signed dual-bank OTA firmware updates with interrupted-update recovery and a high-throughput BLE transfer path
  • Built a SwiftUI iPhone app with BLE pairing, lock/unlock controls, optional Face ID/passcode confirmation, Siri/App Shortcuts, widgets, Control Widget support, and Action Button workflows
